  • Hourly charges are tracked and logged on an ongoing basis. After the first hour, time is calculated in 15-minute increments.
  • Hourly charges are deducted from the commission rebated to the Buyer New Option Realty represents.
  • If a home has not been purchased at the termination of our contract, all outstanding hourly charges will be billed for payment.

If you sign a buyer’s contract with a traditional commission based agent, they will work for you for FREE – but there’s a catch!  People generally don’t work for free.  In fact when you buy a home, real estate agents are typically paid by the Seller, most often 3% of the sales price!  If you paid $200,000 to a Seller to purchase their home, at a 3% commission rate, the Seller gives $6,000 of your money to your Real Estate Agent.  If you did most of the research yourself online, maybe you only used 6 hours of their time - that would mean they made $1,000 an hour!
